Joyce used a driver at the par 3 12th hole, because the tee was almost back to the gent's tee. She was playing with Nichola Ferguson and Jean Johnstone in The Spring meeting on Saturday 26th April 2008. When she got to the tee she enquired why the tee was so far back. Just hit the thing said Jean. She hit the ball very well and Nichola said that will go all the way to the hole. When they got there, no sign of the ball. They looked in the bunker, no ball. Nichola went over to the hole and surprise surprise the ball was in the hole. Joyce's first hole in one.
